Always say yes to Palm Springs!

Again and again, I say I am so lucky to get the coolest, most down-to-earth, fun brides. They are always stylish and make my job so easy. I adored Bethany from the moment I met her for her trial. She doesn't wear much makeup day to day, so we wanted to keep things soft and feminine, but still sexy! She's got incredible eyes and so we did a golden glow with some smokey brown liner to really play them up, while keeping skin and lips pretty natural and glowing. A perfect look for such her and Pete's wedding at a private estate in the Movie Colony area of this desert oasis. I drove up from San Diego for the day, because I will always say yes to a Palm Springs wedding!

2. Waterproof Complete Concealer (Shades: 4 and 5) applied with #06 Concealer Brush
3. Perfect Setting Powder applied with #01 Tapered Powder Brush (all over) and #07 Large Shadow Brush (to set concealer)
4. Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder (Shade: Dark) applied with #03 Angled Blusher Brush

EYES!

1. MAC Paint Pot (Shade: Groundwork) all over lid applied with fingers

A New Addition!

After a couple of years of toying with the idea of expanding my service offerings, I'm happy to announce I am finally doing just that! I have a new addition to my business. Not to be confused with the "Candy Girl" singing gents, New Edition, from the eighties! Such a good song...

As a professional makeup artist in San Diego, re-establishing my freelance business here after moving back from New York City, I'm so happy to be able to offer that missing piece that I always felt my clients were after: the products I use.  I offer a luxury service, why wasn't I meeting every need for people? Not anymore!

I'm also pleased to share that after many years of friends and family bugging me to start doing makeup tutorials online, I'm finally doing it!
