I'm both excited and ashamed to say my first trip to the New York Public Library was for this beautiful inspiration shoot orchestrated by H&H Weddings. 20% ashamed because I can't believe I hadn't been there before. And 80% excited because we got there before sunrise and had the place all to ourselves! To be in such a grand part of the history of this city, such a well known institution, in the eerie, empty quiet of the morning was just magical.
It's important when you have two beautiful brides to really let their individuality shine in their overall look. So I kept one bride's look very soft and inspired by her own youthful, natural beauty, just focusing on her already glowing skin and bringing extra attention to her stunning doe eyes.
And I kept the other look much more playful and inspired by the wintery berry tones that run throughout the decor and florals. 100 Layer Cake called it a "timeless winter beauty look!"
